Whitefish Lake – Ice is starting to form in the bays but is NOT Safe!
Foys Lake – Approximately 3-4 inches of ice. We have been seeing a great Trout bite using Ratfinkees and Shrimpos with maggots.
Smith Lake – Approximately 6-8 inches of ice. Lots of Pike are being caught as well as some Perch.
Bitteroot Lake – The North end is icing over. We have reports of approximately 3 inches of ice, but conditions change very quickly.
Lower Thompson Lake – Approximately 4-5 inches of ice. We are catching lots of Perch at depths of 20’-25’. Additionally Pike spearing in the narrows has been good.
Lake Mary Ronan- Approximately 3-4 inches of ice off the State Park. We have been getting reports of a few Perch being caught in depths about 20’.
McGregor Lake – Ice is starting to form on the west end but is NOT safe yet!
Lower Stillwater Lake – Approximately 6-8 inches of ice. We are finding lots of small Perch with the occasional Pike using tip ups.
Loon Lake (Ferndale) – Approximately 4-5 inches of ice. There is good Trout bite using small glow jigs. Perch are being caught in depths of 30’-35’ using Kenders Tungstens paired with soft plastics.
Lake Five – Approximately 5 inches of ice. We are still seeing limits of Kokanee being caught using Halis and maggots.
Vann Lake – Approximately 5 inches of ice. There is a decent Trout bite in the morning.
