Flathead Rivers Alliance and Montana Kayak Academy co-present the 20th annual Paddling Film Festival at O’Shaughnessy Center (1 Central Ave) in Whitefish, MT on Friday, May 2nd 7:00-9:00 PM.
The Paddling Film Festival is an international adventure film tour presenting the world’s best paddling films of the year – whitewater, sea kayaking, canoeing, rafting, SUP, action and lifestyle around the world. Audiences will see expert whitewater showcases, motivating environmental documentaries, epic standup paddle boarding quests and grueling kayak fishing battles.
Kick off the 2025 river season with us celebrating rivers and community! Proceeds from film and raffle tickets go to support Flathead Rivers Alliance and Montana Kayak Academy’s education, stewardship and science non-profit work on local rivers. With raffle prizes worth $5,000+ up for grabs ranging from flight into Schafer Meadow with Red Eagle Aviation, YETI gear, whitewater and scenic float packages, fishing and paddling bundles, Under the Big Sky tickets, kayak intro lessons, packraft and boat rentals and so much more it’s a win-win.
