In West Yellowstone, Montana, winter isn’t just a season—it’s an adventure! And thanks to the Kids-N-Snow program, local kids are getting a hands-on introduction to all the frosty fun the great outdoors has to offer. One of the coolest experiences is ice fishing on Hebgen Lake, a tradition supported by the annual Hebgen Ice Fishing Tournament.
Kids-N-Snow is all about getting kids outside, learning new skills, and making the most of Montana’s winter wonderland. From drilling holes in the ice to reeling in their first fish, these young anglers are gaining a new appreciation for the sport (and maybe even bringing home some stories for the dinner table).
