announce that it will host its first Total Archery Challenge (TAC) event from June 27-29, 2025. This threeday outdoor archery event, which has been captivating archers for over a decade, promises to deliver an
unforgettable experience for participants of all skill levels.
What is the Total Archery Challenge?
The Total Archery Challenge is a premier archery event featuring professionally designed courses with
over 100 lifelike 3D targets. Archers are tested on their marksmanship as they adjust for varying
distances, angles, and natural obstacles.
This event is designed to challenge and
entertain archers, whether they are
beginners or seasoned pros.

Course Information:
Participating archers will have their choice of six (6) courses will be set along the slopes and forest areas
of Red Lodge Mountain, accessible via the Stache Express and Palisades high-speed detachable chairlifts.
The lift operations department at Red Lodge Mountain will manage the lifts throughout the event,
ensuring smooth and efficient transportation for all participants.

Archers will choose their preferred course and mark their scores for each target, similar to a round of
golf. Many participants attend the event for multiple days, taking on different courses each day. In
addition to the archery challenges, Friday and Saturday evenings will feature private receptions for
attendees, with proceeds benefiting military veterans and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

The base area and facilities at Red Lodge Mountain will remain open to the public throughout the event.
Archery enthusiasts can explore over 100 on-site vendors and enjoy food and beverages at the
Bierstube. For safety reasons, the mountain will be closed to all other activities during the event.

Located just 68 miles from the east entrance of Yellowstone National Park with a peak elevation of
9,416-feet, Red Lodge Mountain was originally founded as Grizzly Peak Ski Area in 1960. In 1965 the
name was changed to Red Lodge Mountain. Today the area boasts 1,635 skiable acres, 70 runs, and
Montana’s second largest snowmaking system serviced by eight lifts including three high-speed
detachable chairs. In 1994, the 18-hole Red Lodge Mountain Golf Course was added to the operation and
in 2018 the company opened Grizzly Peak Outdoors retail store located in downtown Red Lodge.
