January 1, 2025 – Three days of summer fun in January? That’s what’s happening in Billings. The Great Rockies Sportshow returns in 2025 with more fun and adventure than ever before. The annual three-day event is the largest presentation of fishing, hunting, boats, RVs, travel and outdoor products in Montana.
Not only can visitors buy outdoor-related products they can also book their next vacation to Alaska, Canada and Africa. Want to go on an African safari? Seventeen African Outfitters are exhibiting at the show and are ready to answer your safari questions. Nine Canadian and three Alaska lodges/guides are also exhibiting and will help you book your fishing or hunting adventure. A unique vacation opportunity featured at the show is canoe camping in the boundary waters of northern Minnesota.
The first RV and boat sale of the season rolls into MetraPark as part of the Great Rockies Sportshow. Six top RV, boat and power sports dealers are at the show. Shop and compare RV’s, boats and power sports.
Highlighting the weekend’s entertainment is Maasai, a live African lion. His acting credentials are numerous, appearing in many movies, TV shows and commercials. His appearance in Billings will be a once in a lifetime event. Fun for the whole family!
Special guest appearance this year is Wes David the host of “Fishing the Wild West” TV show. Kids activities include the Kids catch and release Trout Pond and the always popular Gemstone & Fossil Mining activity where you get to keep the treasures you find.
