A buddy just gave us some delicious antelope jerky that his buddy actually had made with a speed goat he had just taken this season. It was flavored perfectly and not too dry. Perfection. That got me thinking…what are some SIMPLE and TASTY recipes to make from your antelope? I have seen some gems on MontanaOutdoor.com in the past like a Tender Antelope Stew and Pan-Seared Antelope Tenderloin, but what about something…different? And the internet did not disappoint. I found this antelope tongue recipe. The person who cooked it had a few things to say about this recipe including: “if your wife is pregnant like mine was when i cooked this dont have her in the house, boiling it puts off smells that make then squeamish.” and “When i bit into it I thought I would throw up. But it turns out that it actually tastes amazing.”

So, as off-putting as it looks and sounds to some, I guess it could serve as a reminder to not judge a book by its cover….or texture? If you’re brave enough to try this, it is for you:
