Fresno and Nelson Reservoirs Fishing Report by Brian Olson 12.19.24

Fresno is 16% full with no inflow & about 40 cfs outflow. The reservoir is ice covered. Best walleye fishing times will be around first light in the morning then at sunset for about an hour. Fish the point areas. Nelson is 70% full with no in or out flow. The reservoir is ice covered. Best fishing is with live minnows under tip ups. Fish the weed lines in about 10’ & break lines out to about 30’. Check the ice before preceding. Good luck.
