Pike-northerns are still very shallow in and near weed beds,we are mainly targeting areas with large weed beds that come to or near the surface in 10 feet of water or less using spoons and spinners, chrome themed colors worked best for us last week
Lake Trout-lakers are still shallow and seem to be getting more active as more fish are turning post spawn and starting to feed again,3/4 ounce red and orange jig heads and 4.5” paddletails picked up most of the fish
Smallmouth Bass-slip bobbers and
minnows are picking up lots of fish still as well as plastics but we noticed the fish slid out a little deeper last week,20-30 feet was the number especially for better sized fish
Water temp in the back bays was in the upper 40’s-low 50’s and the main lake was 53-55
