Richard Oblander shared a post on Hunting Montana about taking his youngest son out for his very first day out hunting, and it turned into quite a day! After trekking more than six miles, the youngster lined up an incredible broadside shot at over 200 yards. One clean shot, double lung, and the buck stumbled just 20 yards before going down. It’s the kind of shot most hunters dream of, and Richard’s kiddo nailed it on his first go. Let’s just say he couldn’t stop talking about it the rest of the day—and who could blame him? On top of that, Richard also tagged a buck–what a way to double up!
Congratulations!
