Canyon Ferry: Walleye fishing is good from Avalanche to Hellgate, Duck Creek to Confederate, from the Silos up to White Earth and north of White Earth. Using bottom bouncers with blue spinner blades or crankbaits in 20 to 30 feet of water is working best. Rainbows and perch are also being caught while using traditional walleye tackle. Rainbows and walleye are being caught on rapalas around Cemetary Island. An occasional rainbow is being caught from shore at Confederate Campground on hook and worm. Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena
Hauser: Walleye fishing has been good while using perch-colored crankbaits around the Eldorado Bar dredge piles and from the Causeway Bridge while using jigs tipped with worms or leeches. A few rainbows are being caught in the early morning hours between White Sandy and the Dam while trolling cowbells with spinners and a worm about 25 feet deep, and below Canyon Ferry Dam with nightcrawlers and a marshmallow. Chris Hurley, FWP, Helena
Holter: Rainbow fishing has been good on the lower end of the reservoir while trolling cowbells or Ford fenders with spinners and a worm and while jigging around Split Rock at night. Perch fishing has been great while jigging around the weed beds in 15 to 20 feet of water along the Clay Banks across from the Boat Loft. A few walleye are being caught while jigging near points and weed beds from the Oxbow Bend to the Dam. Kokanee action has slowed down, but a few are still being caught between Split Rock and the Dam while trolling 50 to 80 feet deep with Dodgers or cowbells and kokanee spinners tipped with corn. Chris Hurley, FWP, Helena
