Fresno and Nelson Reservoirs Fishing Reports by Brian Olson 8.15.24

Fresno is 30% full. Inflow 3 cfs & outflow 100 cfs. Ramp at dam is operational. Fishing for walleye & northern is fair. There are fishing opportunities other than Fresno at Baileys, 1st lake, Rocky Boy Reservation plus many trout ponds south of Chinook.

Nelson is 81% full. Inflow 19 cfs & 0 outflow. Fishing for all species is good. Fish the weed lines for walleyes & northerns. Fish deeper basin areas for perch & crappie. Bass fishing on rocky areas can be very good. Good luck.
