2024 Fall Mack Days on Flathead Lake

Up to $200,000 in Cash and Prizes

Plus a $1,000 tagged lake trout-sponsored by Bretz RV and Marine of Missoula
Thursday-September 5th to Sunday-November 3rd
9 weeks of lake trout fishing
Fish one day or several days-every lake trout entry under 30” gives you a chance to catch a tagged lake trout and/or win one of the lottery drawings! Catch 11 or more and begin to receive bonus $ as your total goes up.
Friday- Sunday–competitive Mack Days-lottery prizes, tagged fish, and bonuses-ends Sat 11/2
Top ten angler prizes: Pick your best 18 days/26 possible-Friday-Sunday-11th place-20th based on totals. Check out pick up sites on the website or turn in at Blue Bay from 9 till ½ hr. before sunset
Monday-Thursday– 9:00 am to 6:00 pm deadline to turn in fish at Blue Bay – 4-$50, 2-$100, 4-$250 lottery drawings -33 days-plus bonus dollars-totaled with Fri-Sun totals at the end of the event
SUNDAY-NOVEMBER 3rd –SEPARATE DAY ALL ENTRIES IN BY 3:00-only AT BLUE BAY
All prizes & lottery drawings will end 11/2 and be posted on Sunday 11/3 at 3:00. Awards ceremony at 3:00. Cash Drawings for Sunday entries will be-$400, $350, $300, $200, $150, $100–Captains $200, Ladies-$100, 70 & Over $100, Siberian Cooler. Largest lake trout under 30” $100-1st $75-2nd & $50-3rd totals count for bonus awards
Bonus $ amounts (Mon-Sun) increase as your total goes up–bonus amounts and tagged fish amounts are estimated-anglers who enter 11 or more lake trout receive bonuses-examples: 11-30 lake trout entries- $45, 31-50-$88, 51-75-$150, 76-100-$205, …..205-225-$518, 301-325-$813 on up. No pooling of fish is allowed. Lake trout are to be entered the same day as caught.
40 lottery drawings $2,000- $400 totaling $29,000-all lottery drawings & prizes end Saturday 11/2 Sunday is a separate day
Top twenty angler prizes $950-$200 totals $10,800
Siberian Cooler Tickets-1 for every 10 lake trout entries
Captains $250-(4 prizes) Top lady anglers $300, $200, $100-by total fish entered
Smallest lake trout $250-(2 prizes) Largest lake trout $500-sponsored by Bretz RV and Marine
Youth anglers- (17-13) 1st– $200, 2nd-$150, 3rd-$75 (12 & under)-1st-$100, 2nd-$75, 3rd-$50 Weekend Prizes-4@$100 & 1@$200 per weekend-9 weekends-$5,400
Golden Angler (70 & older)-$300 & $200, $100-& 2@$50-determined by total fish entered
Bucket Days-3 days of single/team-heaviest 4-fish
Fish the entire lake-Fri-Sun check in stations with set times at Somers, Wayfarers, Big Arm, & Polson
Blue Bay only-all day until ½ hr before dark or 9:00 whichever comes first
Mon-Thurs all fish turned in at Blue Bay by 6:00
