According to a recent post on social media, at a fishing tournament like the Sealy Big Bass Splash Tournament, there’s more than sneaky tactics with fish weights, as has happened at other tournaments, going on.
During a two-day patrol, the Texas Game Warden Marine Theft Investigation Unit, joined by wardens from various counties, kept a close eye out for any fishy business. They inspected a whopping 300 boats, 243 motors, and 100 trailers, uncovering over $100,000 worth of seized equipment.
Looks like these wardens reeled in more than just big catches!
