Canyon Ferry: Fishing out from the Silos and Duck Creek has been productive for rainbows, walleyes and perch. Around the Silos in 20-30 feet of water and north to Hole in the Wall in 30-40 feet of water has been producing fish while using Swedish Pimples in orange or pink with maggots or orange, yellow or white jigs with worms or maggots. The Duck Creek area in 30-40 feet of water has been producing fish as well on orange and yellow or blue or silver jigs with maggots. There is 15-16 inches of ice from the Silos down to the ponds, 14-15 inches of ice around Duck Creek and Confederate and there is 5-7 inches of ice on the north end of the reservoir. Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena
Hauser: A few rainbows are being caught at the Causeway Bridge and out from Black Sandy while using various jigs or ice flies tipped with crawlers or maggots 8-10 feet below the ice. Good numbers of perch and a few walleye are being found near the Causeway powerlines while using green, orange or pink jigs in 20-25 feet of water. There is 8-9 inches of ice. Chris Hurley, FWP, Helena
Holter: Perch fishing continues to be good out from the BLM boat ramp, the Prairie Dog Town, and Indian Trail while using white, orange or green ice jigs tipped with maggots or perch eyes. A few rainbows are being caught in shallow water at the Gates of the Mountains, Log Gulch, and other small bays on the lower end of the reservoir. A few Burbot are being caught during the early morning and late evening hours while using sucker meat near the bottom. There is 8-10 inches of ice. Chris Hurley, FWP, Helena
Helena Valley Regulating Reservoir: Perch and kokanee fishing has been great.
