Anglers are sometimes accused of stretching the truth when talking about the size and number of fish they’ve caught. The more a story is told, the bigger the fish or number of fish reeled in, grows.
So it’s not surprising that Fort Peck resident Brian Olson has run into skeptics when talking about his fishing outings.
“People tell me I’m full of baloney,” said the longtime tournament walleye angler. “I’m not. My thing in life, I like to look you right straight in the eye and tell you what I do and how many fish I catch. I love it when I walk and they say, ‘He’s a g—damn liar. I don’t try to tell a fib.”
