HELENA – The Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission hearing originally scheduled for Dec. 14 on the proposed regulations governing upland game bird hunting seasons has been postponed until a later commission meeting.

During the public comment period earlier this fall, the public shared insights about hunter experiences in the field, and the department wanted to extend public comment and add time to the hearing at a later meeting so that the commission could make a fully informed decision.

For a full agenda, background on the scheduled topics and public comments, go to the Fish and Wildlife Commission page on the FWP website.

FWP’s website offers live-streamed audio of each Fish and Wildlife Commission meeting.
