You may have seen this circulating the internet. Here’s what we know of the story.

About seven years back, at a camp in the Northwest Territories, a lucky client landed a bull moose that was nothing short of impressive, according to Jim Lancaster, a hunting and fishing guide who co-owns and operates Copper River Outfitters in British Columbia. Lancaster commented on a Facebook post boasting the giant bull moose in a photo and added the photo below for a different angle of the monster. The moose’s antlers stretched about 64 inches—not quite the mythical 70 or 80 inches some believed, but still a total showstopper thanks to its insane fronts. The best part is that every bit of that moose was put to good use, and word is, the meat was absolutely delicious!

Now, we know this has nothing to do with Montana, but this moose has a rack that is worth sharing, and who doesn’t like seeing giant, unique antlers on a species that is also here in Montana? What a trophy!
