MILES CITY, Mont. – The Bureau of Land Management Missouri Basin Resource Advisory Council will meet Jan. 16, 2025, for their regular business meeting.

This meeting will be held using a web-based video-conferencing application to avoid winter travel risks for attendees.

The virtual online meeting will be open to the public and begins at 8 a.m. The public comment period will be held from 4-5 p.m.

The agenda will include BLM manager briefings, district and field office updates, RAC member briefings to the BLM and other topics the council may raise. A detailed agenda will be made available on the Missouri Basin RAC webpage at :  https://www.blm.gov/get-involved/resource-advisory-council/near-you/montana-dakotas/missouri-basin-rac.

During the public comment period, interested persons may make oral presentations or file written statements for the council to consider. Depending on the number of persons wishing to comment and time available, the time for individual oral comments may be limited.

Advance registration to attend the virtual meeting is required. Please, email Gina Baltrusch at rbaltrusch@blm.gov prior to Jan. 10, 2025. Attendees don’t need to install any special virtual video-conferencing application to join the meeting – it functions best in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge web browsers.

The purpose of the RAC is to advise the Secretary of the Interior, through the BLM, on a variety of issues associated with public land management. For more information contact BLM Missouri Basin RAC coordinators Mark Jacobsen, mjacobse@blm.gov, or Gina Baltrusch, rbaltrusch@blm.gov.
