According to Field & Stream In November 2024, Montana hunter Bret Pullman harvested a remarkable 200-inch whitetail buck on his family’s ranch near Caldwell. After two seasons of tracking this elusive deer, Pullman seized the opportunity during a chance encounter, making an impressive 482-yard shot. The buck boasts a 20-inch inside spread, 23.5-inch main beams, and 17 scorable points. If the green score holds after the mandatory 60-day drying period, it could become the first Montana whitetail of this caliber entered into the Boone & Crockett record books in nearly three decades.
