Smallmouth-Lots of active fish still being found around rocky shorelines and points in 5-20 feet of water, slip bobbers and minnows are catching about half and jig heads with plastics worked right on the bottom worked well for us when the bite slowed down

Lake Trout-Quite a few fish up in 20-55 feet now,we have done the best this past week with red or orange 3/4 ounce jig heads with 4 1/2 inch paddle tails working them 8-10 feet off bottom, casting these same jigs from and working them near bottom back to the boat also caught a few fish

Pike-Northern bite has been up and down a bit this week but when they’re on it’s been pretty fast action,we have been targeting them mainly casting spoons and spinners over shallow weed beds but we did catch a 40” pike jigging lakers out in 50 feet of water so some big fish could definitely be caught pulling crankbaits out deeper

Water temp on the main lake was around 55 most of the week.
