Missoula, Montana — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Denver Field Division, in conjunction with the Missoula Police Department and the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for the firearms industry are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the robbery of Downtown Pawn and Gun.

The robbery occurred on May 16, 2024, at 11:15 am and involved a lone male suspect. After the suspect entered Downtown Gun and Pawn, he asked an employee to see a firearm. Once the firearm was in his possession, he left the store with the firearm and fled in a dark grey or silver Lexus bearing unknown out-of-state license plates. The firearm was recovered approximately two days later in Shoshone County, Idaho.

ATF is offering a reward of up to $2,500, which will be matched by NSSF for a total reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to identification, arrest and conviction of those involved. This reward is part of a larger national cooperative initiative between ATF and NSSF in which NSSF matches ATF’s reward in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed firearms retailers.
