A person was killed and a Yellowstone ranger was injured in a shooting at Canyon Village at Yellowstone National Park. The situation started Wednesday night and ended the next morning on July 4. The injured ranger is stable and was flown to a nearby hospital.

• The FBI is leading the investigation with support from National Park Service special agents.
