KPAX is reporting that a plane assigned to the Horse Gulch Fire near York crashed at around 1:15 p.m.
The report says the plane crashed in the Hauser Lake portion of the Missouri River, below the dam.
The NTSB has confirmed they are investigating the crash through a post on X.
The fire measures 450 acres as of noon.
