A husband and wife team from Wolf Point surged to the top of a pack of 201 teams to win the 2022 Montana Governor’s Walleye Cup on Fort Peck Saturday.
In first place were Whit and Carly Rush with 79.56 pounds.
In second place were Joshua Johnson of Williston, North Dakota and Cody Roland of Crosby, North Dakota, with 75.72 pounds.
In third place were Jason Plouffe of Saco, North Dakota and Levi Plouffe of Billings, with 67.24 pounds.
In fourth place were Nate Chappell of Miles City and Mike Chappell of Glasgow with 63.62 pounds.
In fifth place were Jesse and Monica Reuter of Sidney with 62.76 pounds.
