Right now the snow pack for the Madison drainage is looking good. We currently sit at 99% of average with several storms on the way. Now is not the time to forget the snow dance. The one thing I learned is more water solves most problems in Montana so bring on the winter. In the Madison we need to fill the lake to make sure we have consistent cold flows all summer. The more snow the more water for the fish and more dry fly days. Keep up the snow dance.
