The Captain and his brother, Dan Ward from South Dakota, had a decent couple of days this past Saturday and a Sunday fishing the Missouri River below Fort Peck. The weather was nice Saturday and windy Sunday. The walleyes liked a 1/4 ounce white jig tipped with a minnow. They caught and released all females, just like the 27-inch walleye the Captain is holding in the picture below, and kept some of the smaller males.
They also caught a couple of sturgeon.
