The hunting of mountain lions in several Montana hunting districts in Regions 1 & 3.

Closed to hunting of all mountain lions on Sunday Dec. 29, 2019:

• HD 140 – which includes portions of Flathead County,
• HD 380 – which includes portions of Broadwater, Jefferson and Lewis and Clark counties.

Will close to hunting of female mountain lions on Monday Dec. 30, 2019:

• HD’s 323, 324, 325 & 327 –, which include portions of Madison and Beaverhead counties.

Will close to hunting of female mountain lions on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019:

• HD’s 322, 326 & 330 – which include portions of Beaverhead and Madison counties.

The closure notices for the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota or sub-quota for the districts had been met.
