The hunting of all mountain lions in southcentral Montana hunting district 502 & 575, which includes portions of Carbon, Yellowstone, Stillwater and Sweet Grass counties, will close at one-half hour after sunset on Monday, Nov.25, 2019.
The order halting the hunt came shortly after Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest sub-quota for the district had been met.
These districts will re-open for the hunting of all mountain lions for the Winter Season beginning December 1, 2019.
