The Pryor Mountains, south of Billings, are a great spot to take your ATV, UTV, motorcycle or Jeep for a rough road tour. The trails can be accessed at the base of the mountains in a desert-like setting. Climbing steeply up rocky Jeep roads travelers can motor up to about 8,500 feet where the air is cool and there are old fir forests. One good loop route is the Stockman Trail.
