The Captain and Berny were joined by Kelly Koon of Helena on Wednesday as they fished for trout on Holter Reservoir. The day was a bit windy at times, but all in all the trout fishing was fairly consistent.
The trout they were catching seem to be in 10-14 feet over about 60-90 feet. They caught trout on different lures including rapalas, viking spoons, needlefish, and syclops spoons while trolling 1.8 to 2 miles per hour.
