Hookem Harry and the Captain went fishing Tuesday on Holter Reservoir. They used Maribou Jigs from Kit’s Tackle. Casting to shore, the trout were on the bite. The duo caught and released some nice fish. Lots of boats were on the water, and most went up-river toward Hauser Dam.
Hookem and the Captain fished in the mouth of the Gates about a mile down on the left bank. It was a nice day weather-wise with no wind and temps in the upper 40’s.
The boat ramp is open at the Gates of the Mountains, and an $8 ramp fee is in effect.
