State game wardens are asking for information regarding a mule deer buck that was poached near Conrad recently.
The deer was shot with a rifle, had its head cut off, then was dumped two miles west of Conrad on Coal Mine Road. The animal was found the morning of Oct. 9 and had been killed within a day of its discovery.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 1-800-TIPMONT. Information is kept confidential and rewards are possible.
