It’s almost that time again, trappers!!!! Now is the time to make sure you have all your traps dyed and/or waxed if you’re after canines! If you don’t dye or wax your traps, then make sure you have them ready! Test the pan tension, make sure they function properly, etc….and count the days!
Based on what I’m wearing in all these trapping pics from over the years, you would think all these pictures came from two days, but the truth is that I wear the same coveralls almost every day from the fall through spring…with the exception of waders–I really do only wear those in the water.
I know I’m looking forward to also finding some good water trapping spots in the area I moved to this past fall. Between land and water trapping, it will be a good year–I can feel it! It’s a damn good feeling when you can trap where you live, too! Good luck, trappers!
