If you talk to folks from out of state, they think of Montana as big mountains and Glacier or Yellowstone national parks. Maybe that’s why you see a lot fewer people if you hang out in Eastern Montana, which I think is totally underrated for its unique beauty. I recently had the chance to explore the Seven Blackfoot Wilderness Study Area just south of Fort Peck Reservoir and once again came away amazed at the beauty of this place.
