There are still opening for three MT FWP Wolf Trapping Certification classes being held late summer and winter. The classes will be held in Bozeman and Missoula in August, and Kalispell in December.
The Missoula class will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at the FWP Region 2 headquarters office on Spurgin Road. The Kalispell class will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at the FWP Region 1 headquarters office on North Meridian Road in Kalispell.
This is a one-time certification required for Montana residents participating in wolf trapping. The classes are taught by FWP staff whom are experienced wolf trappers.
