KMVT-TV/KTWT-TV reported that 21 coyotes were taken at the Salmon Coyote/Wolf Derby this past weekend, but no wolves. There were reports of vandalism from anti-hunters, and there were groups protesting the two-day event, but the hunters seemed to have a great time.
There will be a coyote derby in Dillon, Montana on January 10-12, too. For more information, stop by Dillon Rocky Mountain Supply for more information, or call 406-683-2308. If you attended the Dillon Coyote/Wolf Derby this past weekend, send us your pictures and stories! Post them on our Facebook page by clicking here.
