Vitalik Kanivet’s got his first elk ever near Alder, Montana. Vitalik is 13 years old and emigrated to the U.S. from Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine when he was just 7 years old.
He was hunting on opening day with his Dad and cousin, Sam, when the bull elk was spotted and shot it from 283 yards.
