Largest Brown Trout Ever Caught in New Zealand Weighed 42 Pounds!

We have some monster browns in Montana, but a 42-pound and one ounce brown trout??? This brown missed the WORLD record by three pounds!!  It is definitely a New Zealand record.

In an interview with New Zealand’s Channel 3 news, the angler that caught it said it looked like a submarine.

I could type all day about this, but until you see the footage and pictures for yourself, you won’t even believe the size of this giant!
