Mitch Nichols, age 9, his dad Gary and I went to catfish fishing on the Yellowstone river recently. We caught 10 catfish between 4-12 lbs. using cut minnows. We released all but one of the big ones. Quoting Mitch: “This is the best day of my life!”
I went back the next day and fishing was very slow. The bite should pick up as the water temperature increases.
