Ross Tate from Missoula got a huge 6×6 bull!
“Early morning hunt Monday with a good, quiet stalk into timber that I had seen Elk the evening before. Stalked half the morning and then, there he was! Standing in thick timber. One shot, tracked for 45 minutes in good fresh snow, and saw him standing one more time before my 2nd shot got him for good. Jubilation, baby! We did lift him up to rinse him out at which point you can truly see how big of an animal these bull Elk can be.”
There’s still open water out there, listen to last weeks show here.
