Kingfisher Fly Shop reported this for Rock Creek:
Rock Creek fished really well over Easter weekend and should continue to be a good option for this coming week. The top water action has been the best during the warmest part of the day. Skwalas and March browns have been the name of the dry fly game. The March browns have been showing up in a big way. Fishing subsurface has still been the most consistent and productive. Your usual suspects have all been working well underneath with San Juan worms, little black Sloan’s, purple princes, CDC pheasant tails, double beaded stones, hares ears, and standard pheasant tails. For top water flies the D&D cripple and Flick’s March brown have been tough to beat for the March browns. For the skwalas, use a flush floater or a double dutch bug for a good searching pattern. Fishing a dry dropper in walking pace water has been very productive. Throwing streamers is a option as well. Yellow streamers are can be very productive in the spring.
