Its fair season around Montana, and this weekend has a full schedule of fairs and rodeos taking place. Here are a handful that are taking place. Be sure to find one near you and join in the fun!
Great Falls-Montana State Fair
Experience Montana’s culture and history in the heart of Montana – Great Falls. Superstar entertainment, the Mighty Thomas Carnival, five nights of pro rodeo, 40 food vendors, livestock shows, stage acts, quilts, floral and cooking exhibits, and more!

Ronan-Lake County Fair
Lake County Fair will be held at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Ronan. 4-H and Open Class exhibitors will show their livestock, projects, and crafts. There is a Livestock Market Sale on Thursday evening, and entertainment all week. Family-oriented events take place throughout the Fair, along with food vendors and concessions.

Livingston-Park County Fair
Livingston hosts this county fair which features a carnival, rodeo, various exhibits, pig wrestling, demolition derby and more.

Sidney-Richland County Fair and Rodeo
The Richland County Fair and Rodeo is an annual event known as the show window of agricultural achievement in eastern Montana and western North Dakota
Hours: This event features a PRCA Rodeo Thursday and Friday nights with a concert on Saturday. Events 9am-12am.

Hardin-Big Horn County Youth Fair
Big Horn County honors its children and their future with an open fair featuring 4-H exhibits and youth projects. This is a non commercial fair. There is not a carnival or night show.

Butte-Butte-Silver Bow County Fair
The Butte-Silver Bow County Fair offers arts and crafts, food booths, farm animals, rodeo, music, exhibits, horse show, concert, concessions and open class judging including horticulture, foods, photography and fine art.

Dodson-Phillips County Fair
The Phillips County Fair is the longest continuous-running fair in Montana. Activities include 4-H show and judging, three-day carnival, rodeo, night show, Indian horse racing, AMX car races and demolition derby.

Superior-Mineral County Fair & Rodeo
Mineral County (Superior) provides an old-fashioned country fair with lots of cowboy spirit and homespun charm. There is no charge to enter the fairgrounds.

Terry-Prairy County Fair
The Prairie County Fair is fun filled days and nights. Come check out the 4-H judging, livestock, rodeo, Parched Prairie Players (the local drama group), and entertainment.
Glasgow-Northeast Montana Fair
Northeast Montana celebrates summer with an old-time fair, lots of family fun, free entertainment, children’s activities, cooking contests, local talent show, two nights of PRCA rodeo and wild horse race, a demolition derby and livestock exhibits and sale.
