You may or may not remember that back in August of 2009, the Flathead Beacon posted several pictures of President Obama testing out his fly fishing skills with local guide, Dan Vermillion, on the East Gallatin River near Belgrade.
Apparently, the fish were biting, but President Obama did not manage to hook a trout that day. As you can see by his perma-grin, though, he seemed to really enjoy the Montana fly fishing scene!
