Wyoming Twin Peaks: Brett French Radio Show Preview

In terms of contrasts between ski areas, Wyoming’s Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole Mountain resorts seem separated by a lot more than 14 miles of the Teton Mountains. Jackson is known for extreme skiing down steep, high-mountain gullies. It’s also a pretty upscale area, with million-dollar homes and glitzy people visiting to experience “the West.” Just over the mountains on the other side of the Teton Range is Grand Targhee, a place that has a more casual, down-home feel. What the two ski areas share, though, is great snow and fun mountains to explore.
